Summer Plans

 
     Summer is my favorite time of the year. It's always really fun because we either take a trip or go on vacation. Sometimes it's just us that go and other times it's the whole family that goes. This year it's the whole family that's going away for a week. We are going to visit my cousins and one of them is graduating.
     My dad, my brother, and I are going to leave a day or two before everyone else so we don't have to rush to get out there on time. Once we there we are going to visit many different places that we haven't seen before. Once everyone is there we're going to have a cook out with many different kinds of foods that my family makes. 
     Once that graduation is over and we have to leave, we aren't going to go straight home. We are going to stop at all the monuments that we stopped on the way there. We are going to see the Bad Lands, Crazy Horse, and we're going to climb Mt. Rushmore! And because it's our vacation we are going to be staying at different hotels on the way home.
     One of the best things about summer is that you get to have friends over on whatever day you like and stay up as late as you want getting all messy from for all the marshmallows you made from your campfire! You can the campfire as late as you want because you don't have school.  Then the next day you get to go to the pool and eat ice cream! Summer is the best because you don't have to have set plans to have fun, you just go!
   

How I Want to be Remembered

    How do I want to be remembered as I finish my sixth grade year and beyond? I want to be remembered as a good student and a fantastic friend. Like a lot of other students, I am going to try really hard to try to reach that goal. Witch is only going to make it harder to stand out, in a good way, and that's a really good thing because it will be a challenge to try even harder.                                                                                           I think being remembered as a student will be a little difficult, only because there are so many kids and a lot of things going on. It will also be difficult because teachers teach for so many years and they don't remember everyone forever. I want to be a person that all my teachers, including the ones that I already had, remember for a long time.                  Friends are really important to me that's why I want them to think of me as athletic and really involved in my academics as well. I really love all my friends that I have because they are supportive about anything anyone of us want to do, which always makes things a lot easier and a lot more fun. When you have fun with people you like it's not easy to be forgotten, so there for it's easier to be remembered.                                                            I really like school and everybody around me and that's how I want to be remembered from sixth grade year and beyond.
